Postdoctoral Fellow

I am currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Claus Lab. Under the tutelage of Dr. Eric Claus, my current research endeavors include investigating changes in brain activation and functional connectivity in non-treatment seeking adults with Alcohol Use Disorders (AUD). More specifically, I focus on neural correlates pertaining to alcohol and stress cues (i.e., incentive saliency, negative-emotionality) and executive functioning (i.e., response inhibition). I am also working towards longitudinal analyses of functional neuroimaging data in relation to changes in drinking behavior that are independent of formal treatment. To these ends, I also aim to integrate analysis of multimodal neuroimaging data, such as Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) and Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL).
In addition to addiction, I have also investigated the neuroimaging correlates underlying varying levels of executive functioning, including deficiencies (e.g., Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), normal development (e.g., cognitive aging), and precociousness (e.g., math-giftedness).
