Fadwa Cazala, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Cazala’s is a postdoctoral fellow who focuses on the biopsychological underpinnings of criminal behaviors. She is particularly using behavioral and multimodal neuroimaging techniques to investigate the environmental (i.e. childhood trauma), psychopathological and neurocognitive correlates of risky and maladaptive (e.g. paraphilias, violent behaviors). She aims to characterize the complex mechanistic pathways to risky and maladaptive behaviors in forensic populations, to provide new therapeutic targets for translational and clinical research.
