NEURODEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP HELD AT MRN
A two-day meeting on Human Brain Development was held at MRN, May 8-9, 2007. Supported through a generous contribution by Suzanne Hanson Poole, a member of MRN's Board of Trustees, and organized by Dr. Yoshio Okada, Director of the UNM Biomedical Research and Integrative Imaging (BRaIN) Center, the workshop brought together over forty scientists and educators to talk about early childhood neurodevelopment with a particular emphasis on brain injury, autism, and early childhood education.

Clinicians and bench scientists, radiologists and autism experts, early childhood educators and neurologists from across the country came together to explore the intersection of research and practice in order to design a research program in this area.
