Summary:
This will be an in-depth examination of advances in the research on human brain development using MEG.

The program will include three speakers from outside of the MEG community to stimulate the audience:
•    Ivica Kostovic -- Anatomical Analysis Of Human Brain Development
•    Ellen Grant -- DSI Analysis Of Human Cortical Development
•    Sampsa Vanhatalo -- Neurotransmitter System Development In Prematurely Born Infants

Other presenters (12 total) will discuss MEG research on:
•    Brain development in human fetuses
•    Sensory development
•    Perception and cognition
•    CNS pathophysiology in newborns, infants and preschool children

This satellite program will complement the Symposium on Human Brain Development in the main Biomag 2010 program.  Furthermore, the program will enable participants to review the work taking place around the world in human brain development research using MEG.
